Staff Code of Conduct

  • We will provide a consistent level of compassion, empathy, and education to all pets and their owners. We will treat pets with the same level of care we would have with our own pets.
  • We will be committed to continued education and staying abreast of the best possible standards of care and do our best to provide these services to your pet. We made a vow to our patients and to our communities to offer care and protection from preventative communicable diseases. It is our job to educate our clients on what their pets are at risk for and to help prevent certain disease processes.
  • We will stay on time to the best of our ability. If that’s not possible, we will provide clients with information regarding wait times at check-in or keep them updated while they are waiting in the exam rooms. We offer a coffee bar and bottled waters in the lobby for your convenience. We greatly appreciate our clients and respect your time.

Our Hospital Policy on Appointments

  

  • Arrive on time for your appointments. This is not only a courtesy to our staff, but also to others who have scheduled appointments. 
  • Contact us at least 48 hours ahead of time if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Missed appointments prevent another animal who may be in need of care to receive it. If you miss 2 scheduled appointments within a years' time, we will need to collect a non-refundable deposit totaling the cost of the Exam fee you are wanting to schedule. This fee varies depending on the type of appointment you would like to schedule. As long as the appointment is kept, it will come off your total invoice on the day of the original scheduled appointment. If you cancel or have to reschedule again you will need to pay another deposit. This is to ensure respect for our time as well as the patients we are not able to schedule during that time frame.
  • Surgeries require a $100 non-refundable deposit. If the appointment is kept, it will come off final invoice the day of the procedure. If the appointment is rescheduled, we will collect another $100 deposit to reschedule.
